Kate sings the Veggie Tales song / Reception Introductions
Watching Mommy Dance / Playing at the beach

Owen has some AWESOME hair sometimes... This is his gigantic mouth, too...
Arriving at the church on Friday for the rehearsal. The guy on the left is Ken Hall, who I backed up on guitar for the singing of 'I Will Be Here'
The church. With a giagantic cross. Where in the wedding there was not ONE mention of Christ. HMMmmm....
Stopping for a family picture outside the reception hall... What on EARTH did they do to Julie's hair?
Me and Owie chillin' at the reception. We got them dinner and then just kept them busy until the bride and groom arrived. Julie knew a lot of people from Chrissy's family, so she was off talking, and I kept the kids a bunch.
The reception hall. Julie and Kate chatting it up.
Once people started arriving, Kate just RAN around... I love this picture!
watching mommy dance
Daddy, can I dance?
Chrissy smashed, Josh didn't. That means 50/50, right, Anita Miller? I had taken the kids home by this point.
Can't leave that garter on, can we?
Wedding's over, let the vacation begin. 'God Made Me' is a VERY cheap knock off of Baby Einstein, by the way.
Wait, no vacation yet! Gotta come back and open presents!
I was annoyed, but for some reason, girls seem to enjoy the process...
The pool at the apartment complex was FREEEEEEEEEEEEZING!!! And yet we went anyway!
Owen was so cold after being in the water that he needed skin to skin to stop shivering
Kate got to wear Daddy's shirt. She liked it.
Owen is now learning to climb, first in and around stuff, as well as up and into stuff.
It being Florida and all, we did try to take as many walks as we could...
Kate liked to bring us flowers from the area...
When we did go to the beach on Tuesday, this was as much sun as we got. If you notice the palm leaves, there was a STEADY breeze...
We were WINDSWEPT... it WAS the beach, however... that did count for a little...
Owen's head just smell's SO GOOD!
Kate lost no time heading straight to the playground!

We set the camera up, and... WHERE'S KATE??? HURRY! GET BACK HERE SO... D'oh... not fast enough.
Kate, stay RIGHT THERE.... That's better.
The waves were pretty rough, we just stayed in the surf
We took turns with the kids, chasing waves and playing so the other could take pictures
MMMMMmmmm Jellyfish!
Even Owen got in to it!
The ocean was pretty rough, back to the playground!
The tire swing was pretty cool...
For those of you who know him, this is where Greg Stanley trusted Christ in March of '02. Same beach, same place. The picnic tables out past the playground, remember? Sitting with the Rev after everyone went back to West Palm? Good times, bro...
Again, Owen climbing. It was pretty amazing.
Our sleeping arrangements: Owen in the closet... It worked well. The Pack'n'Play fit EXACTLY.

We called this 'Katie's House'. It's just the Pack'n'Play turned upside down on top of her. We did so she wouldn't pop up and see us overnight (our bed was to the left there). It worked, as the dog's kennel was called 'Jackie's House' so she had Katie's House! Hey, don't judge us... She enjoyed it!
We have two of the best little travelers around, I'll tell you what!
