Christmas 2004
This is a collection through December 2004. The captions say it all.

Plus, for your enjoyment... a CRAZY HAIR VIDEO  (18MB)

Julie and I took a night off and went to a Salsa Dinner/Dance. Ironically, the salsa was only dancing, not part of dinner. It was put on by our church's and another church's young adult ministry. It was fun!
We left Kate overnight at Julie Blackorby's house. She's been a great resource for us.
Apologies for the early morning picture, Julie, but it's a good one of everyone being happy!
Uncle Ryan was very tolerant of our grabby goose. His shades are sturdy. We were looking for our Christmas tree at Burke Nursery down the road.
The tree helper took a nice group shot.
Melanie and Ryan stayed to help trim the tree.
Kate was very helpful cleaning up the pine needles
I decided to take some "artistic" shots. Bear with me here... I like them.
Another of my "artistic" endeavors.
Kate loves riding her hippo (Nana and Pop-Pop's birthday gift)
This was us on Christmas Eve after the service at the Lutheran church up the road
Christmas Morning!
The obligatory bow on the head
Kate had been told "NO" for presents for so many days, she had to be encouraged to actually open them!
A very fun pop up book
that she wanted to read right away. It was ripped up the next week.
One of her favorite toys, Julie's Grandma Gen's hat!
She loves that hat!
She's enjoyed it along with a necklace of Julie's grandma
She loves them all!
Sometimes she's not as happy as others. I choose then to take pictures
I kept two paint cans upstairs for a while and she enjoyed drumming on them.
She loves playing with her baby in the cradle that great grandpa Waddell made for Julie. Kate likes it as much for herself as for the baby.

helping with the dishes or washing her hands.
More "helping"... it's very cute
She's serious! gets in there with the washcloth and everything!
Smile! Er.. well... look in this direction! Cutie...
