Dawn and Ray Durkee

Dawn and Ray's wedding
Ray and Dawn and Dawn's daughter

Their new house south of Akron

Jeff and Amanda Kirk

Jeff's bachelor party. We started at Great Lakes in Cleveland.
The other side of the table
Other guys joined us for bowling afterward at Stonehenge in Akron
The leagues had just finished, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The people on either side were cool about all our noise
Jeff bowled wearing an apron (thanks, BOTT!) pinned with prophylactics and a towel. It signified things that he would need or use in marriage.
Jeff was probably the best bowler of them all... There was DEFINITELY joy in Mudville...
The tame side, which somehow turned into "hindquarters" after the first game...
The crazy side, which was not as good, but more fun...
Now to the wedding
The "sand" ceremony. A LA lighting a unity candle...
A nice artistic angle... my wife does great work!
It was a nice church, very pretty light
Jonathan Penn had the music and did a bang up job
OK. Corrected comment... Amanda writes: "I just wanted to say hi and to let you know the real story behind our unity candle not lighting. In your caption you said that it was because of the jewelry. This was not the case. It didn’t light because we did not know to pre-light the candle before the wedding. When we went to light the candle with the tapers our mothers lit, the melting wax dripped onto the non-lit wick creating a puddle of wax. The more we tried to light the wick, the bigger the puddle grew. So you see, it was not because of the jewelry. I wanted to let you know so that you did not go through life thinking something false. The moral of the story is to ALWAYS PRE-LIGHT the candle before the wedding. That way it catches faster."
smootchy, smootchy!
Cutting the cake. They smashed, if you were wondering. Not horrible, but Jeff definitely had cake in his glasses.
