Christmas 2004
Our Christmas 2004 holiday was filled with a lot of NE Ohio family, and though it took place about 2 weeks early, it was still a good time. There are several galleries here, one of the "Christmas Morning" with Chris and Ginny, one of the "Hansen Christmas" with all the Hansen extended family.
The last is some friends and miscellaneous pics
Just scroll down!

The Family Christmas

As if it was Christmas morning, we had hot chocolate, and CJ played Santa Claus. Typically, Kate enjoyed the paper more than the presents. (MVI_2817  14.5 MB avi file, plays fine in QT/WMP)

with hot chocolate in hand, here we go, tearing into the stockings!
Kate enjoyed eating ornaments and orange peels.
Nana and Pop-pop just taking it all in
Kate got a lawn octopus (water toy) that she was excited about.

Her new play table doubles as a jungle gym, apparently.
Dinner was delicious. Traditional Christmas breakfast!

The Hansen Christmas

This was great fun, as we all met at Terry and Jean Cleary's house for the Hansen Christmas gift exchange (read the rules HERE).  There was a ton of food and drink, and great company.  Suzie was back, Annie and Joe were in from Chicago, Ernie and Anna were there and in great spirits, and Kate helped redefine "child proofing". There was a cute video of Kate waving to Great Grandpa (MVI_2838 12MB avi, plays fine in QT or WMP)

Kate enjoyed meeting all the Hansens
Smile!
Oh yes, it was festive!
We had a big family photo session. Look how handsome!

It was a good idea, Pop-pop, but it didn't last long...
The gift exchange has begun!

Kate kept it interesting... another one coming?... what were we thinking!
I had gone home to put Kate to bed, but there was even a birthday celebration!
