Here are all the projects that got done in and around Owen's birth:

Master Bath (inside & out) - finishing still needs to be done
Basement - Tile landing, fireplace rebuilt, storeroom rearranged, organized
Pantry - Light installed (let there be LIGHT!)
Home Theater - Wiring begun: sound, video, antenna, and power
Outside - Trim finished, front landscaped, under porch storage built drainage in front and back routed underground.
Attic - wiring run for ceiling lights/fans in nursery and guest room

Mouse over the thumbnail for a more detailed description.

This is the exterior of the Master Bath. This wall put me through the ringer trying to get the drywall to look right. Final consolation is that the rest of the house has crappy drywall, so why not there? If it looked TOO good, it would stand out, right?
A veiw of the floor from the bedroom. I chose to lay out the tile diagonally to hide the crooked walls. Sorry for the messy!
A little more of our decor. Julie's picked out some great stuff to get the room looking good...
The shower. It is HEAVEN ON EARTH to shower in your own bathroom.
Of course I added some lights in the room. The moisture resistant covers were a bear to get in, but they work and look good. Just hope I don't have to change a lightbulb anytime soon. I decided to throw a tile landing in front of the slider downstairs. That area is a trouble spot for leaks, not to mention when carpet goes in, the foot traffic through the back. The vent for the kitchen hood exhaust was a birds nest. Years worth of them. I riveted a cover after filling the area with GREAT STUFF. I've got to get up and trim that off and paint to match the siding. The finished aluminum and chimney construction. Looks a lot better, eh?
Chris and I installed this light in the pantry. MUCH better when you can see what's there... The downstairs. I wired an outlet above the fridge, so no more extension cords. The shelves are begging for organization, but... time? getting all the crap off the bench and organized into drawers... nice... Now that we're going to use the basement, I had the fireplace repaired. All the walls had cracked, so I had it cleaned and repaired: $700.
The front of the house aluminum work. I had him make our accent panels white instead of the same color as before (pink) Had to replace 2 azaleas, dug drainage ditch along the front, laid the scalloped edging and mulched. Nice, eh? Big Steve is a MASTER at the small carpentry projects. These are his doors to our new UNDER PORCH storage place. It's paved real nice and goes around to the left under the stairs as well. His aluminum work was as good as the pros! doors open
this is the extent of his drainage work. The other pic shows Dad's downspouting connections, then the run picks up the neighbor's drain and runs to the sidewalk. We're just waiting on the groundcover to grow in This is Dad's drainage work in the back yard. He took our drain and the neighbor's above us out underground to try to dry up our swampy back yard. The RF cable going to the attic, where I will mount a TV antenna for our Home Theater system. I replaced the 2 cheap globe fixtures with 4 recessed cans in the basement.
The Home Theater prewiring... this is the left front my center run with the beginning of the drywall patching under the kitchen sink (that leaked and ruined the drywall. While you've got the hole, add the stuff, right? a view of the hole where I had to replace a box, will need to patch the drywall before I seal it up, as well as my right rear surround channel.
This is where the projector will hang, I've got to reinforce the ceiling as well as finish my cabling and run power.
