Kate's Birth
No worries, people. I was sure to take all the "miracle of life" shots out.  For you squeamish ones, however, there are several here of a BRAND NEW baby, with all the meconium and goo and everything.  SO.  Open these at your own risk, how's that!  Personally, I think it's beautiful.

Julie and Adrienne Mormino after checking in Getting Julie settled in the labor room.
I thought she was amazing. This moment was like the calm before the storm This was Cynthia, a nurse/mid-wife that saved the day, essentially, and helped Julie focus at the peak of her labor
Here she is! Crying her first cries! Preparing to cut the cord Getting cleaned up and telling us all about it. That's the greatest sound in the world, though Getting to know each other. I didn't know whether to be with Kate or with Julie, and they were across the room from one another, so I annoyed everyone by running back and forth
Proud Papa! The Mormino's were the first ones to greet Kate in the hospital. Adrienne was with us through the whole delivery and took most of these shots. She's amazing, and due to have her first at the end of Oct. 2004! The first night was THE WORST!!! If you can see the clock on the wall, that is A.M. time... Here's the little bundle, sleeping away! Her vitals should be readable on the larger picture
Ryan the proud uncle Christian and Erica Pinkston, our gracious hosts for our first 6 months stop by and see Kate. Christian had the sniffles, he's not really that stand-off-ish Oh, the TV makes it easier. And having her on my chest, listening to her breathe... the greatest feeling in the WORLD! Nana and Pop-pop get their first looks
Totally in love Julie was in remarkable shape after such short labor. She sat up and was fairly cheerful for the day after her delivery! Getting ready to go home Taking the Lo-jack off the umbilical cord, now we were really responsible for her!
